The CrystalDiskMark 3.0 random 512K data is quite different and we found that the Kingston SSDNow V+ 180 64GB provides a very strong read performance, matching the OCZ Vertex 2 Pro 100GB and coming in at it 36% faster than the SSDNow V Series 64GB. This high performance was also seen when measuring writes and, incredibly, the SSDNow V+ 180 64GB was 6 times faster than the SSDNow V Series 64GB with a throughput of 148MB/s. The Kingston SSDNow V+ 180 64GB really struggled with the CrystalDiskMark 3.0 random 4K-QD32 test. Despite being considerably faster than the SSDNow V Series 64GB when measuring both read and write performance it was still much slower than the majority of SSDs tested.
